Erin Shook is a former high school teacher with 17 years of experience in the classroom, who taught AP Psychology and Sociology. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education–History and master’s degrees in Curriculum and Instruction and Reading.

Erin believes student engagement, mental health, and real-life challenges are deeply connected, and that teaching should reflect that. Her work focuses on supporting the whole student, not just their academic performance.

Erin has consistently advocated for student well-being, leading initiatives that prioritize mental health, including an annual day dedicated entirely to supporting students’ emotional and mental health.
