The blended PreK teacher shall be responsible for planning and executing an educational, early childhood
program of learning and growth that is specific to the needs of all students, while adhering to the vision and
mission of Wolf Branch School District.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must hold an Illinois Professional Educator’s License in Early Childhood Special Education or Early Childhood with an LBS 1 Endorsement
Experience in early childhood special education, preferred
Must possess personal fitness sufficient to perform all essential job duties and participate in:
-Safe therapeutic physical restraint under the guidance of trained certified staff members
– Safe lifting and transferring of students when needed.
-Active physical interaction and supervision during instructional and recreational programming. These activities may occur on a regular
and repetitive basis.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Salary based on adopted Teacher Salary Schedule
Employed on a nine-month basis (180 days).
