JOB GOAL:
To assist in the daily operation and organization of the district through performing Human Resource and Business Office Functions

REPORTS TO:
Superintendent/Director of Finance

TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS:  
High school diploma and postsecondary degree of related work experience preferred
Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required
Human Resource and/or Accounting experience preferred
Established and proficient ability to multi-task
Attention to detail and precision with all tasks
Efficient, accommodating demeanor
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to effectively work with employees, students, and families
Willingness to assume additional duties during high demands
Effective at working under pressure
Strong communication skills and customer service skills

DUTIES AND PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Onboard new employees, process employee forms, and oversee compliance documents/processes.
Coordinate benefit enrollment, changes, and terminations.
Maintain employee attendance records, directory, and related employee records.
Process payroll vendor payments, bank reconciliations, and accounts payable transactions as directed.
Process student work permits.
Process and maintain accounts receivable transactions as directed
Assist with student fee management.
Assist with record retention.
Assist with food service reporting.
Assist with the facility rental process.
Assist with general clerical services including, but not limited to, answering phones, filing, taking messages, scheduling and coordinating meetings, greeting and assisting parents, employees, students and visitors.
Other duties as assigned.

COMPENSATION: $18.50/hr

BENEFITS: This position is eligible for medical/dental/vision/life insurance and paid time off.  This position participates in the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF).
