Objective:   To assist in the daily operation and organization of the Main Office.

Training & Qualifications: 
High School diploma or beyond is required
Computer skills - must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel
Organizational skills – accommodating, work well with all types of people, willingness to assume additional duties when necessary, effective at working under pressure, strong communication skills
Record keeping
Multi-tasking, efficient, friendly
Nature of Work:   This position requires assisting all school stakeholders – students, parents, community members, faculty, staff, administration – with the necessary information and functions to make the Main Office run efficiently and smoothly. Working well with all stakeholders is a paramount priority.

General Job Responsibilities: 
Answering phones
Greet students/parents; assist/answer questions
Transcript processing – adding activities to transcripts in Skyward, preparing official and unofficial transcripts from Skyward
Process record requests for withdrawn/dropped students
Register new students
Contact schools for transfer records
Call substitute teachers
Type proof of attendance letters for students
Update faculty extracurricular list as needed
Assist with mailing of final transcripts for graduating seniors
Stuff/mail documents
Re-assign lockers for students
Maintain locker keys
Oversee voicemails received after hours and re-direct to appropriate person
Close Main Office at the end of the day
Deliver Mail to Post Office
Process OTHS Daily Bulletin announcements that are sent in and compile them into a document to be distributed each day to faculty and staff via e-mail.
Other duties as assigned
