Position Title: Supervisory Aide – In School Directed Study

Days: 176 during the 2024-2025 school year
Rate of Pay: $16.25-20.75 (Based on experience) and board paid IMRF

JOB SUMMARY

Under the direct supervision of the building Principal, this position will supervise students assigned to the In School Directed Study room and, when available to assist in maintaining an orderly and safe atmosphere in throughout the building and in other designated locations by helping and supervising students at non-instructional times.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure students assigned to In School Directed Study are completing class assignments as instructed by teacher(s)
Ensures students follow the behavior expectations for school activities
Assists in supervising students before
Reports to principals as appropriate regarding infractions, safety concerns, or other issues involving students

Additional Duties
Performs other related tasks as assigned by the Principal.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying.

Successful prior experience working in a supervisory position in a school district or with children is preferred.

Certification/License: Paraprofessional or Substitute License is preferred.
