Tang Math: A Visual Approach to Solving Word Problems (Grades K–4)

June 9 @ 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

Free – $175.00
Do your students struggle with word problems—using keywords out of context, guessing at operations, or getting tripped up by subtle wording changes, harder problem types, and multistep problems?
Join Greg Tang for a math-packed day that will transform the way you teach—and the way your students think and learn. In this Grades K–4 workshop, Greg shares his practical, strategic approach to helping students truly understand and master word problems of every kind.
Together, we’ll explore how to use visual models to make sense of problems—the key to developing confident and capable problem solvers. Through part-total models, tape diagrams, and double-sided number lines, you’ll discover how to help students visualize relationships, think both additively and multiplicatively, and build a strong foundation for middle school math.
Math—and you—will never be the same!
Registration closes June 3, 2026.
