The simulation enables participants to examine poverty from various angles and then recognize and discuss the potential for change within their local community. The simulation offers a glimpse into the structural barriers of poverty, transforming participants’ perspectives about their communities. These transformed perspectives are designed to inspire action toward positive community change.

ROE 50 hopes that by offering this training to the public, St. Clair County can begin to bridge the gap from misconception to understanding when addressing poverty in our communities.

Please note that this registration will close August 5, 2026 promptly at NOON. Cancellations must be made by August 5, 2026 at NOON or there will be a forty-dollar invoice sent to your school/organization on your behalf.
