Executive Function Strategies: Supporting Students in the New School Year (Grades 6-12) (VIRTUAL)

July 12, 2023 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am

Free – $75.00

Get your 6-12 students moving in the right direction on the first day of school! A growing body of research suggests that executive functions are more important predictors of success in school and life than IQ. Executive functions, higher-level cognitive processes that monitor and control thinking and behavior, emerge during early years. But they mature in adulthood. In this interactive virtual professional development, you will learn about brain research and strategies to help students strengthen or compensate for EF weaknesses. The instructor has developed her own forms and graphics to help teachers and students and will share her real-world teaching examples and materials.

Registration will close 4-5 days prior to the event unless tickets are sold out.
