De-escalation Techniques and Strategies in K-12!

In this after school training, special educators Cassie Downs and Michael Downs will share the causes of escalation in the K-12 classroom and de-escalation strategies that can be implemented within your environment. We will focus on understanding the behavior behind the escalation, and discuss how to respond in order to shorten the intensity and duration of the escalation.
