Join your fellow St. Clair County Principals in the first breakaway of the 2023-2024 school year.  The first portion of the session will be facilitated by Dr. Alex Herrel (Fulton Jr. High Principal). Alex’s session is titled: Supporting the Whole Child with House Systems in Schools and his description includes the following: You have likely heard of the house system being implemented in schools around the globe. Inspired by the house system at Atlanta’s Ron Clark Academy, I will share the journey of our school over the past five years to plan, initiate, and maintain a strong house system to promote a sense of belonging and positively impact school culture.

The remainder of this breakaway will be spent sharing ideas, resources, problem solving, tips and strategies embodied in the principal role and it’s ever changing challenges and successes in today’s school setting.
