The What, How and Why…Autism 1.0

This event will be held at BASSC (in the board room).

Come learn about autism! This training will provide an overview of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) as well as positive behavioral supports aimed at increasing independence, promoting communication, and reducing challenging behaviors in the classroom.  Having an  understanding of the characteristics and challenges arms participants with the knowledge required to support individuals with ASD in their daily lives.  In addition, topics such as joint attention, related services, sensory integration, and evidenced based strategies. Who should attend: Paraprofessionals, Educators, Related Personnel Staff and Administrators
