Each letter of the Social Emotional Alphabet is highlighted. With 26 letters and over 33 practical strategies, they offer SO MUCH CHOICE when learning about trauma, social emotional learning & soft skills.

This session of the SEL Alphabet will focus on the Letter X “eXtra fleXible which focuses on student mental health and teaching expected behaviors rather than just expecting behavior to change”. This is the fourth and final session of four virtual sessions that Heidy will present.

Heidy LaFleur is a vibrant, positive and common sense leader with explosive passion for helping others understand the impact of trauma.  She is an author, forever teacher, former school administrator and most importantly a mother who lives with the trauma cycle with her family.  With her personal experiences being the foundation of her work with kids who struggle with mental health, she has worked with hundreds of kids in need of an understanding, positive and compassionate adult in their lives. She has authored Hop on the Clue Bus – A Common Sense Guide to Leadership and THOSE KIDS are OUR KIDS.
