Through small moments and intentional connections teachers can build strong relationships that foster trust, support, and commitment. The art room can be the catalyst for creative prompts, projects, and initiatives that influence whole school communities without up-ending an entire curriculum or expensive supplies. Consider several art-making opportunities to support learners and other educators with Jonathan Juravich, 2018 Ohio Teacher of the Year and practicing art educator.  Juravich will share his experiences from the art room to inspire hands on art-making and discussions centering social and emotional learning.
