
Shiloh District 85
The Board of Education of Shiloh Village School District #85 is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Superintendent. The Board wishes to select a superintendent who will begin work on July 1, 2026 for the 2026-2027 School Year.
A multi-year employment contract is expected to be negotiated with the final candidate. Salary and benefits will be based on experience and expertise with a salary range expected to be $115,000 to $135,000. In addition, the Board will provide health insurance, life insurance, sick days, personal days, vacation days, professional dues, cell phone allowance, and TRS pension.
LOCATION – Shiloh Village SD #85 is located approximately 20 miles east of St. Louis, MO.
TYPE — PreK-8; 623 Students.
OFFICE — 125 Diamond Court, Shiloh, IL 62269.
STAFF — 2 Principals, 40 Teachers, 60 Support Personnel.
CENTRAL OFFICE PERSONNEL – Superintendent, Business Office Manager, Coordinator of Curriculum and Student Services, Director of Technology, 2 Principals, and 2 Secretaries.
CURRICULUM — Shiloh Village School District #85 offers a comprehensive, newly evolved, multifaceted, and dynamic curriculum based on the Illinois Learning Standards. The academic and co-curricular programming is challenging and includes exposure to the fine arts, technology, and daily physical education.

Previous successful teaching and administrative experience is required.
There is an expectation that the successful candidate will not live more than 50 miles from the school buildings.
