Job Title: Supervisory Aide – Playground Supervision

Reports To:  Building Principal
FLSA Status:  Non-Exempt
Work Schedule:  Student Calendar, 176 days

Student Calendar, 176 days, anticipated 2.25-2.5 hours per day (10:45am-1:00pm / 10:00am-12:30pm on Wednesdays).
Pay Range is $16.35-20.75 per hour (based on experience) and board paid IMRF

Position Available: 2024-2025 School year

JOB SUMMARY
Under the direct supervision of the building Principal, to assist in supervising the playground and cafeteria, helping and supervising students at non-instructional times including mealtime and playtime in accordance with Board policy and established district procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assists in supervising students before, during and after meal time.
Assists in supervising the playground.
Ensures that students following the behavior expectations for playground.
Assists with supervising students throughout the building, and escorting students to the pick- up area.
Reports to principals as appropriate regarding infractions, safety concerns, injuries, or other issues involving students..

Additional Duties
Performs other related tasks as assigned by the Principal.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying.
Successful prior experience working in a supervisory position in a school district or with children is preferred.
Certification/License: Paraprofessional or Substitute License is preferred.
