Holy Trinity Catholic Grade School, Fairview Heights, IL, is seeking candidates for an elementary
school Assistant Principal position. Holy Trinity Catholic Grade School provides faith formation,
academic excellence, and character development for students in Pre-K3 through Grade 8. The
position start date will be July 1, 2023.
Some responsibilities for the Assistant Principal include:
Implementation of technology program, act as liaison between school and Computype
Managing textbook selection, inventory, and ordering
Maintain FACTS enrollment/admissions in partnership with Advancement Director
Assist new teachers in transition to HTCS, meet bi-monthly with all new teachers to address
concerns, field questions, and preview next month of events
Fielding tasks day to day school operations
Organize special events in partnership with the school principal
Preparation for standardized testing including ordering, scheduling, and execution for Iowa
Test of Basic Skills and religious testing
Monitor student behavior and communicate with parents
Applicants are required to be a faithful, committed Catholic who understands and accepts the
teachings and disciplines of the Catholic Church. The preferred candidate will have a Masters Degree,
experience in elementary school teaching and/or administration, management and budgetary
experience, and familiarity with Catholic education.
